Lomi Lomi is a very soothing and relaxing massage form which originated from the beautiful tradition and culture of the Hawaiian Islands. In Hawaii, this massage is passed down through every generation. The Lomi Lomi reflects the movements and rhythms of nature, from sparkling waterfalls to powerful ocean waves. In the philosophy of the inhabitants, everything evolves around love and harmony.
This body massage removes blockages very quickly. The output is mainly done with the forearms by applying nice long and smooth movements on the body. A trained Lomi Lomi masseur performs the massage like a dance, which washes away tension and stimulates the energy flows in the body. It is one of my favourite treatments to perform.
A light form of Lomi Lomi is applied to the face, keeps the skin in condition and is an aid for the prevention of the skin and against skin aging.
A slow and relaxing massage using the Bellabaci cups that causes the body to detoxify itself, combined with deep tissue, Swedish and lymphatic drainage techniques, to achieve ultimate healing in a short time. It is similar to the effect of compresses/warm compresses, but has a much better effect with more results. The mechanism draws the blood from the arteries to the capillaries. The blood then returns through the veins and is cleaned and drained. Bellabaci cups do not irritate the face or body. It gives a slight redness; this is not permanent. Please note, that an intake will always take place before a cupping treatment as there are many contra indications.
